It is okay to be a money-minded!

It is okay to be a money minded as money is indeed something that is needed to live a basic life. Money is the key to being able to eat, and experience new things. Making money and feeling a sense of achievement as you are able to spend the money you have worked so hard to get can be one of the most satisfying things in the world and is one of the many reasons why people strive to be rich.

It is often perceived that there are less stresses with being rich. There is some truth to this; someone with money does not have to worry as much about putting food on the table and making sure that their kids can go on school trips. If you have money and are not in the best health it is easier to be seen privately and therefore demand more of the service. Now note that I didn’t say that money is the key to happiness. Sure money can buy you experiences and items that make you happy and having it can also take a lot of stress of your shoulders automatically making you happier, but it can never guarantee you happiness. It can also never guarantee you the family and friends around that. Therefore while I think it is great to be driven and money minded also remember to invest time into your family, friendships and yourselves. Money will not remember you after you are gone, it is the people who will. Money may not always be there, but certain people will. Do not ever screw over someone you care about for money.
Find a balance between money and yourself and then keep striving for the things you want in your life.
If you earn for yourself, you are money minded. If you keep spending on others you are not money minded. These are just thoughts. We earn for our very much fulfillment of the wishes.
You save a lot; you are money minded. You spend a lot; you are just careless- not worrying about future types.
Keep going gentleman, be what you are. Save as much as you can if you are willing to. Spend as much as you want if that satisfies your soul.
Some common synonyms of loyal are constant, faithful, resolute, staunch, and steadfast whereas,
Someone who is avaricious is greedy or grasping, concerned with gaining wealth. The suggestion is that an avaricious person will do anything to achieve material gain, and it is, in general, not a pleasant attribute.

What is wrong with being money minded?
There's nothing wrong with being money minded as long you don't forget your morals and ethics.
But sadly when money dominates your mind you can't think of being fair and honest always.
Suppose you start a business and instead of providing quality goods, your focus is on earning profits, then be sure to lose old customers and getting no more new.
As a human being, also we've some responsibilities towards the whole existence. And the satisfaction you get being responsible isn't even near to the satisfaction of having bundles of money. No doubt It'll cause you momentary happiness, but will be gone in next few hours or days making you craving for more.
Do a favor to yourself live for yourself not for money. Money follows those who doesn't follow money, but follow their dreams even in a condition when most people give up.
So in short being money minded will never land you on a position you can look at yourself with respect and you'll end up becoming more greedy.
Thus, be practical in your life but defeat the pride of money!
